PORTFOLIO: double exposureThese pieces were constructed with a traditional camera by photographing a series of x-rays, rolling the exposed film back into the camera, and then photographing a series of human movements. The interactions of the figure and the x-ray that resulted in these images were not pre-planned; the loss of control during the process of making double exposures provided satisfying visual surprises. |
